Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that star goalkeeper Alisson Becker will remain on the sidelines for at least a few weeks.
Alisson suffered a calf injury during the Reds’ opening league game against West Ham. He hobbled off early in the first half and was replaced by new signing Adrian.

The injury initially ruled him out of the upcoming Super Cup tie against Chelsea. However, scans have shown that the injury is worse than initially feared and he is set to miss the next few weeks of action.

With Liverpool short on goalkeeping options, they are set to sign Andy Lonergan, who is currently a free agent.
